Conclusions
-
1.
A method was developed for the quantitative determination of strong mineral and weak organic acids for their simultaneous presence in commercial and spent petroleum products by means of potentiometric titration.
-
2.
The end point of the titration is determined by the inflections in the curves at the equivalence points. The sensitivity of the method is 0.005 mg KOH/g of product, with a relative error of ±5%.
