Abstract
A new stroboscopical electron diffraction technique is suggested for studying shortlived molecular species such as free radicals and vibrationally or/and electronically excited molecules in the gaseous phase. The preliminary results are reported for a diffraction study of the multiphoton dissociation of ir-laser irradiation by the CF3I molecule.
