The Institute of Metallurgy of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the section on physical chemistry and technology of inorganic materials held a jubilee scientific meeting April 4–6, devoted to the 50th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, in which prominent metal scientists of the USSR reviewed the heat resistance of metals and alloys.
