Abstract
By means of daily plankton hauls during the winter of 1971–1972, the mean generation time of Fritillaria pellucida (Busch, 1851), its stages of sexual maturity and their duration were established. Increases in size and weight with time and also both absolute and specific growth increments were determined. By means of data on population dynamics, an evaluation of the mean production, per cubic meter, was also made.
