Summary
In a pilot experiment 0.5 ml of antimony oxide (Sb2O3 and Sb2O5) dust was injected intraperitoneally and endotracheally in two groups of “Wistar” type female albino rats. After two months, the rats were sacrified and microtome slices were stained with hematoxylin-eosin and PAS.
Morphology investigation revealed changes of pneumoconiosis of a non-collagenous nature.
