Zusammenfassung
Die durch eine rasche Temperatursteigerung allgemein verschlechterte Sauerstoffbeladung des Blutes wird bei Rana esculenta durch eine Temperaturadaptation wieder gebessert. Dieser von Kirberger (1953) bereits bei einem Sauerstoffpartialdruck nachgewiesene Adaptationseffekt bewirkt, daß die durch die Temperaturerhöhung zunächst nach rechts verlagerte Sauerstoffbindungskurve des Froschblutes sich wieder teilweise nach links verschiebt. Dies könnte durch die festgestellte Zunahme von Erythrocytenzahl und Gesamtvolumen der Blutkörperchen und die Abnahme des aus der Größe berechneten Volumens des einzelnen Erythrocyten erklärt werden, alles Erscheinungen, die auftreten, wenn die Frösche in höhere Temperaturen überführt und dort belassen werden. Ob sich auch die Sauerstoffaffinität des Hämoglobins mit der Adaptation ändert, konnte wegen störender Koagulationserscheinungen bei der Untersuchung von Hämolysaten noch nicht entschieden werden.
Nach der Überführung in höhere Anpassungstemperaturen steigen die Werte für die Alkalireserve, das pH, den Natrium- und Chlorgehalt des Plasmas. Diese Erscheinungen haben jedoch keinen direkten Einfluß auf den genannten Adaptationseffekt, da im Vollblut und in Blutkörperchensuspensionen (in Kochsalz oder Ringerlösung) unterschiedlich adaptierter Tiere bei gleichem Sauerstoffpartialdruck hinsichtlich der Sauerstoffbindung das gleiche Adaptationsausmaß nachzuweisen ist.
