Abstract
Different methods of estimating the fiscal multipliers of the budgetary expenditures are reviewed in the article, including traditional methods, regression models and distributed lags models, the Perotti–Corsetti two-step method, and large econometric models. The author’s calculations of the multipliers of the economic macrofactors for the Russian Federation and regions are represented. A conclusion is drawn regarding the low efficiency of the budgetary expenditures in Russia.
