Abstract
After a long period of generally excellent financial performance, the investment management industry is now challenged by volatile markets, decreasing revenue and substantial client retention issues. As a result of the 2007–2009 credit crisis, many firms faced revenue declines, product performance issues and the need to adjust their strategies to changing conditions.
