Abstract
In recent times, evidence from various research in Africa has shown considerable dynamic movement in migration and population. While some countries, such as Germany, Japan, and Spain, are experiencing decreases in their population growth, Africa is not following this pattern: her population keeps increasing at an alarming rate. Consequently, the growing population, urbanization, and the ratio of working age to non-working age and aging populations are creating pressures on food, energy, and water resources. No doubt, these population dynamics will have an unprecedented influence on global demography in the twenty-first century. This chapter, therefore, explores the dynamics of Africa population and provides some measures to control population growth.
