Abstract
In light of autoethnography and healing, in this chapter we reflect on our collaborative, autobiographical performance duet, terrorists of the heart—braiding performance text, reflective writing, and theoretical contextualization. We have always been bemused by the statement, ‘it’s not personal, it’s just business,’ as everything is personal, processed via our senses. This is why we have always started our research explicitly from the personal. In autobiographical performances, memory is presented as personal narrative and the private is made public.
