Abstract
In the past decade, the fast development of information technology and computer technology lead to the data explosion in vehicle and transportation industry. Vehicle and transportation big data has 4 V features, including volume, velocity, variety, value. Effectively utilization of vehicle and transportation big data can assist the application and accelerate the vehicle and transportation industry. This chapter introduces big data, including the origin and features, data mining technology, software infrastructure, hardware infrastructure. Then, this chapter designs vehicle and transportation big data platform. Based on this big data platform, this chapter introduces our application in Internet of Vehicle (IoV), as well as digital twin IoV and intelligent transportation.
