Abstract
The real-time applications of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have potential design limitations such as energy and other quality-of-services (QoS) constraints in the context of Internet of things (IoT). This work basically formulates two different retransmission strategies for optimized cross-layer design and integrates the framework with a swarm intelligence technique-assisted bacteria foraging optimization for efficient CH selection IoT. The proposed work formulates analytical modeling to realize the formulated concept and simulates the computational design in a numerical computing tool. Finally, an extensive simulation shows the effectiveness of the formulated system in terms of delay, throughput, remaining energy and packet delivery ratio.
