Abstract
The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is an innovative trending technology in today’s life. Using more than one UAV makes a manifold-UAV network, which is more efficient as compared to use of a sole-UAV. UAVs network creates a simple ad-hoc network, and therefore, every UAV node in the network acts as the router itself and when it had a data to transfer at that time starts route establishment process using various routing methods. In this research paper, the author discusses various routing methods such as AODV, OLSR, and DSDV, and investigated various routing methods such as OLSR, AODV, and DSDV as regards the packet delivery ratio, average throughput, end–end delay, and end–end jitter using the NS-3 simulator. For investigation purpose, the author used random walk 2D mobility model and OFDM modulation technique. From the simulation result analysis, it is clear that AODV performs superior as of OLSR and DSDV for UAV network.
