Abstract

The article presents the methods used to calculate electricity losses in power grid with different voltage levels. For the Republic of Crimea, the calculation of losses by the method of typical daily modes was carried out. For this purpose, ten typical days were selected with the help of consumption graphs, which indicate the changes in the maximum and minimum capacities. Using the example of a weekday in the winter period at the beginning of the year, the average load and loss values for each hour, as well as the total losses of the typical day were calculated. The total annual losses in the transformation and transmission of electricity, not taking into account losses at measuring transformers, communication and command transmission devices, for own needs, measurement errors, were found. They amounted to about 56–68% of the total indicators.
