Abstract
Ultra-high frequency-radio frequency identification (UHF-RFID) is used in different home and industrial appliances. The performance of the UHF-RFID is improved when multiple number of antennas are used in tag and in reader, and the multiple number of antenna usage is popularly known as multiple input and multiple output (MIMO). Multiple number of input improves the capacity of system and reduce fading. The performance of the UHF-RFID is also improved by the backscattering technology where the signal is reflected from tag to reader. In this research article, different parameters such as time versus received signal amplitude, time versus input power versus received signal amplitude, and time versus signal-to-noise power (SNR) are observed for square wave, sinusoidal wave, cosine wave, and sawtooth wave input. Channel state information (CSI) is considered to be present at the tag, and the channel is also considered as Rayleigh fading channel.
