Abstract
Starting from the accepted definition that a Smart City is an „umbrella concept” that should be co-designed with a holistic view, this paper aims to summarize several myths about the smartness of the city and it identifies some relevant facts referring to the implementation of the Smart City. Also in this article is presented a complex solution using tools that could help cities in their journey of change into viable smart ones.
