Abstract
Cleft palate is one of the commonest birth defects which are mostly non-syndromic, however this condition may be associated with other congenital anomalies. Although most of these associated anomalies or syndromes are apparent for the physicians and the patient’s families, however, these may go undetected or the diagnosis is delayed sometimes. The proportion and types of these additional anomalies vary greatly between different studies. In this chapter, we are trying to list the commonest of these associations and to highlight the main lines of their diagnosis and treatment.
