Abstract
In order to ensure that the gas enters and leaves the underground gas storage space through the wellbore, this chapter introduces the development experience of gas storage facilities in China from three aspects: the well completion method, the wellhead equipment, and the production string entering the well. In the completion method section, for sandstone and carbonate reservoirs, perforation and combined completion methods are discussed in terms of their ability to obtain a larger bottom hole inflow performance. In the wellhead equipment section, the components of the casing head, Christmas tree, and wellhead safety control system are introduced in detail. Finally, in order to ensure the injection production string enters the well smoothly, the safety inspection and specific steps that should be taken before inserting the string into the well to improve the efficiency of the injection production string are discussed. The completion tool RIH (run in hole) and wireline operations occur in the final stage of the completion engineering of an injection-production well and involve links such as pipe scraping, drifting string running, the running of tubing and completion tools, wellhead installation, well cleanout, annular protective fluid displacement, and packer setting.
