Abstract
Under the premise of describing the background environment of garment automation production at home and abroad, this paper analyzes and discusses the current development of garment automation. From the point of view of content, clothing CAD/CAM includes intelligent design, graphic design, and virtual simulation. The technical aspects involved are 3D modeling, mesh generation, and so on. In the research and analysis process of this paper, the key is to analyze these technologies. Computer technology plays an increasingly important role in garment production. The fully automated production of garments contributes to the mass customization of garments. The results of this study provide a reference route and method for the upgrading of the garment industry.
