Abstract
As a product of information technology and financial innovation, electronic money has created great convenience for people’s lives. However, due to the limitations of the law itself, it often lags behind people’s needs, especially in the era of rapid social and economic changes. The emergence and operation of electronic money is almost impossible to follow. In particular, the issuance, circulation and redemption of electronic money are carried out online. As the issue of jurisdiction after disputes is in the traditional civil and commercial legal system, it can’t find the right solution. This kind of deficiency will inevitably inhibit the further development and use of electronic money. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify relevant theories so that electronic money will bring more virtuous cycles to society.
