Projections of Dynamics and Structure for the Mining of the Far East

Abstract

State programs of the Russian Federation on development of the national industry and also use and reproduction of natural resources (regarding mineral resources) regarding identification of the tasks and priorities allowing to provide stability of development and change of structure of the mineral sector of the Far East are considered. The key tasks and possible results of programs defining such changes are shown. The contribution of a mineral and raw complex of the FEFD to quantitative measuring instruments of separate results is estimated. On the basis of the analysis of strategic documents of development of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District structural priorities and the industries drivers of their economic growth are revealed. It is shown that on prospect in 15–20 years for the majority of territories of the macroregion the resource industries, first of all the mineral sector remains the key directions and the main drivers of development. Investment intentions of the large companies initiating and implementing projects of development of mineral resources are investigated. Possibilities of structural diversification of the mineral sector of the Far East till 2030 are shown. For increase in efficiency of use of mineral resources change of accents of modern state policy in the mineral sector of the Far East region from support of production of resources on stimulation of creation in the region of the hi-tech productions based on their use is offered. Such productions can become a basis of the international centers of cooperation and real cooperation in Northeast Asia.
