Abstract
In the present world, Internet of things (IoT) plays an important part in making the life of humans simply by allowing objects to be sensed or controlled remotely across other existing networks. The traditional methods of farming can be replaced with the modern technologies which will help save time and effort of the farmers. In this paper, we have planned to use technologies like IoT, AI, cloud computing, Big Data, and wireless sensor networks (WSN) to help the farmers by reducing their efforts and time required for various processes in agriculture. Various factors like moisture in the soil, humidity, etc., which affect crop growth takes into consideration by using sensors. Also, the amount of pesticide to be used for a particular type of pest is also taken into consideration.
