Abstract
This article examines coordination and the process of responses to disaster management in Bangladesh. The root of failure of disaster management is coordination, therefore, the importance of it in disaster management has been felt significantly in the recent analysis, be it natural disaster or man-made disaster, and especially its ever-increasing effects have been observed in the disaster-prone countries in the world. However, the focal point of the paper concentrates on coordination challenges, and how the complexity of existing framework affects the capacity for disaster management strategies in the coastal areas in Bangladesh. As regards to methodology, the article has been written based on the personal observation, and a collection of the existing literature.
