Abstract
Education, learning and change entail opening new doors, but they also mean leaving behind naïve notions, challenging misconceptions, confronting injustices and reshaping one’s own identity. The chapter is informed by developmental theorists such as Perry (1968), Sharon Daloz Parks (2000) and Marcia Baxter Magolda (1992, 2001).
