Abstract
In early 2014, Canada released a higher education policy that outlined a new vision and practice of internationalization of Canadian education. Even in its title, Canada’s international education strategy: Harnessing our knowledge advantage to drive innovation and prosperity (CIES), the Canadian government has declared its understanding of the economic importance of the internationalization of education.
