Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to present the opinion of young people living in the South Conurban area of Buenos Aires, Argentina about the quality of life in the community and the quality of life in the country. During 2013–2014 we developed a research project about young people’s quality of life and inequalities in which a questionnaire were administered to 443 persons. The results showed a medium level of satisfaction with quality of life in the community and with quality of life in the country. Considering that community quality of life is a predictor of general quality of life (Sirgy et al. ARQOL 3(2):81–105, 2008), it is important to mention the necessity of empower the social participation and the public space as scenario of relationship and identification between citizens.
