Zusammenfassung
Corporate Social Responsibility ist ein Konzept, welches immer mehr Unternehmen im Rahmen ihres Corporate Reputation Managements anwenden. Jedoch besteht die Gefahr der Reaktanz, wenn ökologische Verantwortung oder soziales Engagement lediglich als „Marketinggimmick“ verstanden werden. Für Glaubwürdigkeit sowie Authentizität und damit auch für den ökonomischen Erfolg von CSR-Aktivitäten erscheint es ergiebig, diese zentral im Rahmen der strategischen Markenführung zu berücksichtigen. Der Beitrag stellt daher ein Modell zur ganzheitlichen Führung „echter“ CSR-Marken vor. Zur Exemplifizierung des Modells wird sodann mit der Marke BAUFRITZ ein Fallbeispiel aus der Bau- und Immobilienbranche analysiert. Das Best-Practice-Beispiel zeigt auf, welche ökonomischen Erfolgspotenziale in dieser Branche mit einem „echten“ CSR-Engagement verbunden sind. Um diese Potenziale auch für andere Marken zu erschließen, wird zum Abschluss mit dem CSR-Markenaudit ein Instrument skizziert, mit dem Unternehmen selbstkritisch überprüfen können, ob sie über die notwendigen Voraussetzungen verfügen, zu einer „echten“ CSR-Marke zu werden.
