Zusammenfassung
Die quantitative empirische Forschung hat ihren Ursprung im naturwissenschaftlichen Bereich und ist deduktiv, d. h., sie prüft Theorien bzw. Hypothesen. Ihr Anspruch ist es, (am besten) über standardisierte Methoden eine Fragestellung mittels „harter Daten“ (Zahlen) zu klären. Die daraus resultierende wissenschaftliche Aussage zielt darauf ab, eine allgemeingültige Aussage zu tätigen, die auch nomothetisch genannt wird.
