Zusammenfassung
Das Kapitel präsentiert die Grundsätze der traumainformierten Versorgung und der Politikgestaltung im Hinblick auf die Funktionsprinzipien, den institutionellen Rechtsrahmen und die Praktiken in verschiedenen Politikbereichen, z. B. in der Gesundheits- und Sozialpolitik als Reaktion auf die Ankunft von Einwanderern und Flüchtlingen. Das Kapitel erläutert die komplexe Beziehung zwischen Politikgestaltung und sozialer Traumatisierung in verschiedenen Umfeldern und bezieht sich dabei auf Grundsätze, Prozesse und Praktiken, die in der Gesundheitspolitik für die psychische Versorgung von Zuwanderern und Flüchtlingen identifiziert werden. Es enthält Fallstudien zu den Auswirkungen des Verständnisses transkultureller Zusammenhänge auf die Verbesserung der Qualität der Versorgung von Zuwanderern und Flüchtlingen, die von psychischen Problemen betroffen sind.
Der zunehmende Bedarf an traumainformierter Versorgung für Politik und Praxis wird mit der Diversifizierung der Bedürfnisse von Zuwanderern und Flüchtlingen in verschiedenen Ländern der Welt immer deutlicher. Das Kapitel beleuchtet die Herausforderungen bei der Entwicklung eines transkulturellen Verständnisses von sozialem Trauma und der Reaktion auf die sich ständig verändernden Bedürfnisse durch die Gestaltung der öffentlichen Politik und Praxis.
