Zusammenfassung

Trauma und kollektives Gedächtnis beeinflussen die Gesellschaft in verschiedenen Bereichen des Lebens. Zu diesen Aspekten gehören Beschäftigung, Arbeit und Arbeitslosigkeit. Wir glauben oft, dass Arbeit in gut geregelten Systemen stattfindet, in denen Leistungsprinzipien herrschen und in denen der Umgang mit Arbeitnehmern auf das Erreichen hoher Ergebnisse ausgerichtet ist. Wir glauben, dass organisatorische Ziele im Konsens durch die partizipatorische Entscheidungsfindung aller Beteiligten erreicht werden, dass es klare Regeln gibt, dass die Macht in einer Organisation von der Autorität ausgeht, dass Aufgaben entsprechend der Fachkompetenz zugewiesen werden und dass jeder die Organisation als ein gemeinsames Gut wahrnimmt. Im wirklichen Leben gibt es jedoch oft versteckte und widersprüchliche Interessen in Organisationen, und allzu oft sind ungeschriebene Regeln wichtiger als die offiziellen und schriftlichen; Macht wird durch formelle und informelle Einflüsse ausgeübt, und die Beziehungen zu Menschen basieren auf Spielen, die an der Grenze zur Legalität oder sogar Illegalität liegen können.
