Zusammenfassung
Ohne Kenntnisse der Anatomie des menschlichen Körpers sowie jener physiologischen Prozesse, die während sportlicher Belastung ablaufen, ist ein grundlegendes Verständnis des Trainings und der Leistungsfähigkeit von Athleten kaum denkbar. Auch Genese und Prävention von Sportverletzungen werden erst auf einer derartigen Basis plausibel.
