Zusammenfassung
Typisches Kardinalsymptom von Augenmuskelparesen ist die Wahrnehmung von Doppelbildern. Eine erste wichtige Unterscheidung zur Einordnung von „Doppelbildern“ ist, ob diese überhaupt binokular verursacht werden und damit neurologisch oder muskulär bedingt sind, oder ob monokulare Doppelbilder vorliegen, die auf ein Problem der optischen Medien hindeuten (z. B. Oberflächenbenetzungsstörung bei Sicca-Problematik). Bei den neurogenen Augenmuskelparesen lassen sich die Okulomotoriusparese (N.III), die Trochlearisparese (N.IV) und die Abduzensparese (N.VI) unterscheiden; sie zeigen ein jeweils charakteristisches Motilitätsdefizit und Kompensationsverhalten des Betroffenen.
