Zusammenfassung
Kürzlich konnte das Heinrich-Heine-Institut, Düsseldorf für sein Archiv fünf bis jetzt unbekannte Briefe erwerben, die Karl Hillebrand (1829–1884), der einstige Sekretär Heines, der später ein berühmter Essayist, Literaturkritiker, Historiker und Kulturvermittler wurde, in den Jahren 1875, 1878, 1880 und 1881 an Robert Oppenheim schrieb, den Berliner Verleger seiner Hauptwerke. Diese Korrespondenzstücke werfen ein interessantes Licht auf Hillebrands schriftstellerische Werkstatt. Sie werden hier mit einer Einleitung und einem kritischen Apparat veröffentlicht.
