Zusammenfassung

Die Spielsportart Fußball ist die meist betriebene Sportart der Welt und längst keine Männerdomäne mehr, da die Anzahl an fußballspielenden Mädchen und Frauen gegenüber der der Männer und Jungen überproportional zunimmt (Cardoso de Araujo und Linne 2014; Cardoso de Araujo et al. 2014; Koutures und Gregory 2010). Fußball ist eine Spielsportart, die besondere Anforderungen an Ausdauer, Kraft und Schnelligkeit stellt. Vor allem Laufbelastungen mit Richtungswechseln, Abbremsen und Beschleunigen sowie Sprünge dominieren die Sportart. Eine gut ausgeprägte Beweglichkeit ist für die Leistungsfähigkeit von nachrangiger Bedeutung, eine gut ausgebildete Koordination zeigt sich in einer optimalen fußballspezifischen Technik. Durch die typischen Bewegungsmuster im Fußball sowie durch Gegnereinflüsse sind die unteren Extremitäten, die Hüft-, Knie- und Sprunggelenke besonderen Belastungen ausgesetzt (Klein et al. 2020). Positiv ist die Tatsache zu bewerten, dass im Kinder- und Jugendbereich mit leichteren Bällen und auf kleineren Feldern, kleineren Toren und mit reduzierter Spielerzahl gespielt wird, wodurch eine protektive Wirkung erzielt werden soll.
