Zusammenfassung
Neuroophthalmologische Syndrome können in Form von Sehstörungen die visuelle Afferenz betreffen oder als Augenbewegungsstörungen die okulomotorische Efferenz. Die afferenten und zentralen Sehstörungen werden komplett in den Kapiteln „Sehstörungen“ und „Funktion und Symptomatik einzelner Hirnregionen“ abgehandelt, sodass sich dieses Kapitel auf die Efferenz (Okulomotorikstörungen) beschränkt. Die neuroanatomischen und physiologischen Grundlagen des okulomotorischen Systems sind heute so gut erforscht, dass oft bereits am Krankenbett eine exakte neurologisch-topische Diagnose möglich ist. Dennoch bereitet dies vielen Neurologen Schwierigkeiten, was zeigt, dass die Kenntnisse über dieses Randgebiet der Neurologie weiterer Verbreitung bedürfen. Daher wird der Beschreibung der Syndrome eine systematische Darstellung der okulomotorischen Systeme vorangestellt.
