Zusammenfassung
In den vergangenen Jahren führten eine kontinuierliche Innovation auf dem Gebiet der Elektronik, der Wandlerproduktion und der Signalverarbeitung sowie die Einführung des Kontrastmittels in die Sonographie zu einem eindrucksvollen Fortschritt in der sonographischen Bildgebung. Power-Doppler (PW), kontrastmittelgestützter Ultraschall (KUS), Pulssequenzverfahren (CPS) und Elastographie ergänzen die konventionelle Sonographie und die farbkodierte Doppler-Sonographie und erweitern die Bandbreite der strahlenfreien Diagnostik in der Urologie.
