Zusammenfassung
In der Biophysik geht es im weitesten Sinne darum, biologische Systeme mithilfe von physikalischen Messmethoden zu untersuchen und mit physikalischen Gesetzen zu beschreiben. Die Medizinphysik interessiert sich für die Entwicklung von medizinisch relevanten Untersuchungsmethoden. Beide Gebiete lassen sich nur schwer voneinander trennen. Insgesamt handelt es sich um sehr interdisziplinäre Gebiete, die neben der Biologie, Physik und Medizin noch viele weitere Disziplinen von der Chemie bis hin zu den Ingenieurswissenschaften beinhalten.
