Zusammenfassung
Der Einsatz von Enzymen bedingt die Verwendung von Reaktoren, mit welchen auf vorliegende Inhibierungen oder Deaktivierungen des Enzyms reagiert werden kann. Beim Betrachten der Grundreaktortypen im Batch- oder kontinuierlichen Betrieb können innerhalb idealisierter, mathematischer Beschreibungen bereits Regeln abgeleitet werden, die im industriellen Maßstab die Produktion ermöglichen. Dieses Kapitel beschäftigt sich daher mit der Reaktorführung für enzymkatalysierte Reaktionen. Es wird auf Basis idealer Bedingungen ein Einblick in die Berechnung verschiedener Reaktortypen gegeben, um die wichtigsten Parameter zur Bewertung eines enzymkatalysierten Prozesses bestimmen und die grundlegenden Reaktoren voneinander unterscheiden zu können. Zudem erfolgt die Diskussion zur Auswahl des Reaktors bei Inhibierungsphänomen sowie verschiedenen Prozessführungsstrategien. Anhand von Beispielen wird am Ende des Kapitels die industrielle Relevanz enzymkatalysierter Reaktionen aufgezeigt, wobei für die Wirtschaftlichkeit eines industriellen Prozesses immer die Gesamtheit thermodynamischer und kinetischer Parameter berücksichtigt werden muss.
