Zusammenfassung
Das Kleinhirn koordiniert komplexe Bewegungsabläufe des Körpers durch somatosensorische Rückkopplungen und motorische Lernvorgänge. Der Kleinhirnkortex wird vertikal in drei Zonen unterteilt, die jeweils spezifische Funktionen vermitteln. Im Beispiel einer Wurfbewegung reguliert das Vestibulozerebellum das Gleichgewicht und die Okulomotorik. Es ist verantwortlich für die korrekte Spannung von Rumpf- und Oberschenkelmuskeln und die Stabilisierung des Blicks während der Bewegung. Das Spinozerebellum koordiniert die Anpassung der Armmuskelstellungen relativ zueinander. Das Pontozerebellum schließlich ermöglicht den komplexen, synchronen Bewegungsablauf der Finger. Horizontal besteht die Kleinhirnrinde aus drei Zellschichten, deren stereotype Verschaltung die Korrektur- und Lernfunktionen des Zerebellums auf zellulärer und molekularer Ebene realisiert.
