Zusammenfassung
Das vorliegende Kapitel befasst sich mit nicht-idealen kontinuierlich betriebenen Reaktoren. Solche realen Reaktoren können oftmals nicht mit ausreichender Genauigkeit durch die Modelle der idealen Reaktoren beschrieben werden. Daher müssen spezielle Modelle entwickelt werden, mit deren Hilfe der Strömungszustand und insbesondere der Umsatz ermittelt werden können. Entscheidendes Kriterium für die Qualität dieser Modelle ist die genaue Wiedergabe des Verweilzeitverhaltens, das durch Vermischungseffekte, wie zum Beispiel Wirbel, Turbulenz oder Diffusion, beeinflusst wird.
