Zusammenfassung

Die konservative Therapie von Rückfußerkrankungen sollte in der Regel an der ersten Stelle bei der Behandlung stehen. Häufig können so die Beschwerden ausreichend gelindert werden und dem Patienten eine Operation erspart werden. Ein zentraler Aspekt ist die den Patienten Bedürfnissen angepasste ausführliche Aufklärung über das Krankheitsbild des Patienten, sowie die therapeutischen Maßnahmen. Hierbei stehen physiotherapeutische, schuhtechnische und pharmakologische Maßnahmen zur Verfügung. Dabei sollten die einzelnen Maßnahmen stets ineinandergreifen und dürfen nicht isoliert betrachtet werden. Bis heute fehlt jedoch für viele der durchgeführten Therapieschritte der wissenschaftliche Wirkungsbeleg.
