Zusammenfassung
Wichtigstes Ziel therapeutischer Interventionen besteht darin, dass der Patient langfristig in der Lage ist, die therapeutischen Veränderungen im Alltag umzusetzen. Das dafür verwendete Konzept des Selbstmanagements kennzeichnet sowohl ein bestimmtes Menschenbild als auch eine Reihe konkreter therapeutischer Strategien. Diese stammen vorwiegend aus dem Bereich empirisch bewährter und theoretisch fundierter Ansätze, die der kognitiven Verhaltenstherapie nahestehen. In dem Beitrag werden Grundlagen des Selbstmanagements ebenso dargestellt wie einige exemplarische Umsetzungen in einzelnen Anwendungsfeldern.
