Zusammenfassung
Die Diskussion um die Kommunikation von Unternehmensverantwortung und Nachhaltigkeit ist oft gekennzeichnet von einer dreifachen Unschärfe. So bleibt zum einen häufig im Dunkeln, welches Organisationsverständnis den Betrachtungen zugrunde liegt, was die empirische Operationalisierung der Grundannahmen und die Nachvollziehbarkeit der Schlussfolgerungen erschwert. Des Weiteren findet sich dort, wo die Sichtweise auf Unternehmen und Organisationen klarer zutage tritt, dann meist eine eher dominante, strategisch-instrumentelle Sicht auf Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) und CSR-Kommunikation. Diese Blickrichtung kann aus kommunikativer Sicht nicht befriedigen, weist sie doch der Kommunikation bestenfalls eine Hilfsfunktion zu, statt sie ins Zentrum der Betrachtung zu stellen. Zum Dritten wird der Begriff der (internen) CSR-Kommunikation für eine Vielzahl höchst unterschiedlicher kommunikativer Maßnahmen und Handlungen benutzt, die ihn letztendlich für eine wissenschaftliche Betrachtung entwerten, wenn nicht gar unbrauchbar machen. Der Beitrag wird versuchen, diese Probleme durch den Vorschlag einer Modellierung von (interner) CSR-Kommunikation aus einer konstruktivistischen und narrativen Perspektive zu beseitigen, um so für die empirische Forschung ein belastbares Fundament zu generieren.

Unter Interner Kommunikation werden alle Prozesse formeller, informeller und darauf bezogener instrumenteller Kommunikation verstanden, die sich innerhalb der Strukturen eines Organisationsystems vollziehen und die Kopplung von Struktur und Mitgliedern als Kommunikation und Beziehungen beeinflussen (Szyszka und Malczok 2016, S. 37).
