Zusammenfassung
Licht, also optische Strahlung, wird in der Dermatotherapie vor allem als ultraviolette Strahlung angewandt. Die wichtigsten therapeutischen Modalitäten umfassen Bestrahlungen mit UV-B (280–320 nm) oder Schmalspektrum-UV-B (311–313 nm), UV-A (320–400 nm) oder UV-A1 (340–400 nm) sowie die Kombination eines Photosensibilisators (meist Psoralene) mit UV-A-Strahlung im Sinne einer Photochemotherapie. In diesem Kapitel werden diese Verfahren erläutert sowie Indikationen, Dosierungsempfehlungen und Risiken beschrieben.
