Zusammenfassung
Störungen der lokalen Kreislaufsituation werden im Wesentlichen durch die Hämodynamik in den Gefäßen und durch Strömungseigenschaften des Blutes bestimmt. Lebensbedrohlich, wenn nicht gar tödlich sind dabei Blutgerinnsel, die sich im Gefäßsystem verselbständigt haben und als Emboli die Gefäße lebenswichtiger Organe verstopfen. Aber auch strukturelle und funktionelle Läsionen können ein Gefäß unwegsam machen, sodass ein lebenswichtiges Organ zu wenig durchblutet wird.
