Zusammenfassung
Nur etwa 1% der Weichteiltumoren sind maligne. Durch Ultraschall können potenziell maligne Läsionen erkannt und der MRT zugeführt werden. Die Radiographie gibt wertvolle Zusatzinformationen. Die MRT ist bildgebender Referenzstandard bei Weichteiltumoren und dient auch dem lokalen Staging. In der MRT nicht klar benigne Läsionen sowie Tumoren, deren Therapie histologieabhängig ist, sollten biopsiert werden. Empfehlenswert ist die Überweisung an ein Referenzzentrum. Die Vielzahl der Weichteiltumorentitäten wird nach WHO klassifiziert (neueste Version 2013). Einige Tumoren zeigen charakteristische Lokalisationen und MR-Morphologie. Das Sarkom-Staging wird bildgebend durch die Größe und die Lage im Vergleich zur Oberflächenfaszie beeinflusst. Internationale Standards sind einzuhalten; entscheidend für die Patienten ist insbesondere die Betreuung durch ein erfahrenes interdisziplinäres Tumorteam.
