Belastung und Betreuung der Angehörigen krebskranker Menschen

Zusammenfassung

Eine Krebserkrankung und die medizinische Behandlung können nicht nur die erkrankte Person, sondern auch die Angehörigen, und dabei insbesondere die Partner*innen, belasten. Neben positiven Aspekten wie der Stärkung der Partnerschaft oder der Ressourcen beider Personen erleben Angehörige häufig auch psychosoziale Belastungen wie Angst, Unsicherheit und Hilflosigkeit, die Unterstützung erforderlich machen kann. Auch die Partnerschaft kann durch eine Krebserkrankung belastet werden und z. B. eine Neuverteilung bisheriger Rollen und Aufgaben erforderlich machen. Ebenso können partnerschaftlich relevante Bereiche, wie z. B. die Sexualität, beeinträchtigt werden. Psychoonkologische Interventionen, wie z. B. auch Paarinterventionen, beziehen die Angehörigen mit ein und berücksichtigen die partnerschaftliche Perspektive, könnten jedoch noch besser auf die spezifischen Anliegen der Angehörigen zugeschnitten werden.
