Zusammenfassung
Antidementiva sind Arzneimittel zur Behandlung von Demenzerkrankungen. Da der Morbus Alzheimer unter allen Formen der Demenzerkrankung zahlenmäßig dominiert, werden hier Wirkstoffe und Mechanismen zur Therapie desselben beschrieben. Dieselben Arzneimittel werden aber auch in der Therapie anderer Demenzerkrankungen eingesetzt.
