Zusammenfassung
Wenn man sich heute mit dem Begriff des Industriegüter Marketings befasst, so muss man sich der Tatsache bewusst sein, wie rasant sich diese Disziplin entwickelt. Anhand der stark steigenden Anzahl an Ansätzen, Konzepten und informationstechnologischen Lösungen, aber vor allem von den damit einhergehenden neuen Definitionen und Begriffen wird diese Entwicklung untermauert. Daher soll sich dieses Kapitel im Einleitungsteil dieses Buches mit dem aktuellen Ökosystem des Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing beschäftigen. Ziel ist es, für das gesamte Werk ein aktuelles, kongruentes und konsistentes B2B Marketing Vokabular zu definieren und inhaltlich zu belegen. So soll sichergestellt werden, dass es zu keinen abweichenden begrifflichen Belegungen und somit zu Missverständnissen kommen kann. Wichtig dabei zu erwähnen ist, dass dieser Begriffsüberblick nur den Anspruch erhebt, den aktuellen Wissens- und Entwicklungsstand abzubilden. Denn wie oben bereits erwähnt, ist die Wissensdisziplin des Industriegüter Marketings aktuell einem dem eines Paradigmenwechsels ähnlichen Veränderungsprozess ausgesetzt. Darüber hinaus erheben wir keinesfalls den Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit, denn es werden für eigentlich gleiche Begriffe in der Industrie teilweise unterschiedliche, voneinander abweichende Bezeichnungen verwendet. Für das B2B Ökosystem im Rahmen dieser Publikation werden wir auf die wesentlichen, allgemein gültigen und anerkannten Begriffe und Termini eingehen und auch uns auf diese beschränken.
