Zusammenfassung
Die Beziehungen zwischen Gesundheit und Verrentung sind sehr komplex. Einerseits ist Gesundheit eine wesentliche Determinante des Renteneintrittszeitpunkts (van den Berg, Elders & Burdorf 2010; Rice et al. 2010), andererseits sind sowohl frühere Arbeitsbedingungen wie auch der Übergangsprozess selbst wichtige Einflussfaktoren (im Sinne von „Fernwirkungen“) auf die (spätere) Gesundheit in der Rente (Platts et al. 2013). Der Zusammenhang zwischen Gesundheit, Beschäftigungsbedingungen vor und Lebensqualität nach dem Berufsaustritt ist abhängig von der sozioökonomischen Position (SEP) der älteren Arbeitnehmer*innen und Rentner*innen.
Der vorliegende Beitrag ist eine Kurzfassung des Abschlussberichtes zu den Arbeitspaketen 4 und 5; zu Langfassungen vgl. de Breij, Huisman & Deeg (2019, 2020); de Breij et al. (2019, 2020).
